Comments Thread For: NSAC Greenlights Golden Boy's 12/13 Show in Vegas

With barely a bat of their collective eyelashes, the members of the Nevada State Athletic Commission agreed to allow history to repeat itself. The panel voted unanimously in favor of allowing Golden Boy Promotions to host its December 13 show at the Mandalay Bay, with the motion passed during the commission’s monthly agenda hearing Monday morning in Las Vegas.

The decision means that Vegas will once again play host to dueling cards featuring Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions—this time, with Golden Boy involved in both shows.

So golden boy has a show with Top tank and another by themselves on the same day, the only question I have is how on earth did Delahoya convince Bob to such a deal, it really is a new day in boxing

This is what confuses me... He is trying to make things right with Arum and things are starting to get going, but he goes ahead and puts Khan on the rival network on the same date.

It's business. Should they turn down a big pay day for their fighters to please Top Rank?

Herrera-Benavidez involves Golden Boy and Top Rank. Eric Gomez was even part of the opening press conference for the HBO show, talking about how great it is to once again work with Top Rank.

IMO, Oscar is trying too hard to "get along" with everyone, and will either wind up right back where he started (feuding and/or back in bed with Haymon), or ripped apart at the seams and Golden Boy ultimately gutted.
