Stevenson is going from HBO Championship Boxing on Saturday night to ShoBox on Friday night. I guess the next step in his devolution will be an appearance on Friday Night Fights.

He's #7 in the WBC rankings and has stoppage wins over Nadjib Mohammedi and Eduard Gutknecht. So that's not terrible, he's probably more qualified than Fonfara and that fight was actually competitive. It could have been a lot worse given what's already happened this year, let's be honest. Also I know it probably sounds like I'm clutching at straws here but his two losses are by decision, so he might have a decent enough chin. One of those losses was to Braehmer also and two judges had him winning four rounds, so that's not too shabby considering Braehmer is probably a top 5 LHW.

But I've never seen him fight and can't even pronounce his name so I can't rightfully say.

The guy can barely move. He looked really old and slow when he was on tv a while back, but seems like a heavy puncher

I do. Top Champion at 175 whther you like it or not. He will never be an ATG or HOF and is already 37/38. Hes here to make money and in the mean time we get BHop beating up Kov and Pascal fighting soon too. I like this fight.

I would have like to have seen Stevenson/Pascal in December and I would have had a great deal of respect if Stevenson had agreed to fight Pacal after the Hopkins fight fell through. However, Stevenson and his team refused to make this fight. After all the negative publicity, the Stevenson team claimed that they will stage Stevenson/Pascal in April. I will believe it when the opening bell sounds and the first punch is thrown.
