why does he need a guarantee? he can't get any top MW's to fight him so staying at the weight seems counter productive to his career. so its either move up or down.

so why not just move down, beat some legit 154lbers, and earn the fight. No need for all the BS.

Cause earning the fight is BS, as we all know. Hed rather not drop that weight if no reason, mw is historically more prestigious, lack of SWW comp on hbo, most sww names moving up...

Wonder what kind gloves Mayweather would feel safe in for a GGG fight?

He can knock out the smaller and MUCH older man?? Not really impressive.

But to knock out the bigger man in Andre Ward, now thats impressive.

You Floyd fans do know that Canelo weighs more then GGG on fight night right? Floyd didn't have an issue draining him down for a fight. That's right, he's a slow ass plodder who can't cut a ring off to save his life.
He won't fight a midget Filipino, never mind a crusher like GGG.
Bring on the Khan-Alexander winner haha..

So if you know how much of a cherry pick that it, why do you want it?

If Mayweather drained Canelo, he would definitely drain GGG, not worth it.

Of course he'd knock him the fk out...that's a given. The guy is chopping down dudes in the scope of 180+ in weight. Considering how this guy cuts off the ring and his amateur backgroud I would say he's likely the guy with the best shot at KO'ing Floyd so we'll never see it. Oh and fk all that size shhh..Canelo outweighs this dude throughout the year and even on fight night.

Not a fair fight. The entire Mayweather family would literally be shook for the rest of their lives if this fight was ever given a hint of consideration.

This fight will never happen cause Hopkins will beat Kovalev then GGG. The hype will be dead.

Freaking Ward, man. This guy is wasting away. It's a damn shame, really.
