It would be easy to hate on AB - I did in the past before he got whooped by Maidana.

The bottom line here is that AB found out what it means to fight a live dog at 147 in Maidana, if they fought again I would still back Maidana for a win, maybe even a KO.

AB's last two fights have don e little to convince me that he is a genuine contender at 147 or even 140.

He is an entertaining character with some real boxing ability but I would be surprised if he got a title at 147.

I'd like to see him really tested again, to see if he realises his potential but IMO both Matthesye and Garcia would beat him at 140 as would all the current belt holders at 147.

140 - I'd like to see him fight Crawford if he comes up.

147 - Khan or Porter.

Broner acts like a ******ed child. Any change in his behavior would almost have to be an improvement. It's too bad Broner has so many kids when he can't even manage his own life better. I hope he does change his ways and becomes a better person. He is a good fighter but he could be a better man. Maidana will always be more than he can handle and will beat him every time in my opinion.

Broner is a solid fighter and can beat or lose to most of the contenders in his weight class. But he hasn't impoved at all and hasn't put on a great performance in the ring in over 2 years.

Its good that he probably parties less than he used to, especially for the fact that it keeps his weight down, but its pretty easy to see from afar that his life is still out of control.

Its inevitable that he ends up broke with all of those kids and his idiotic ways of spending his purse money.

Also, he has been matched against guys with no power in his last 2 fights and I would be shocked if that doesn't continue. I don't believe we will see him vs Matthysse or anyone exciting with power anytime soon.
