2014 has been one of the worst years in Boxing history. Cotto fans would probably argue with me but I don't give a f**k what they think. That was just one fight. All around, this year has been a total flop.

The brightest spot, the most positive moments in boxing outside of the ring have come from this man. The Peoples Champion. Shannon Briggs. 2014 Boxing would have been lost and nothing without The Peoples Champion, Shannon Briggs.

Briggs knows that Wladimir is trying to beat Joe Louis reign of 25 defenses.

He believes this will get him a fight. Maybe not next, or the one after next, but Briggs believes that he will get his turn because of Wlad's mission for more defenses.

Wlad became lineal after Chagaev which was what 10 fights ago? Long way to go to beat Louis's record.
