Haymon and Schaefer did an awesome job in 2013! 2014 has been a disappointment, but I blame that on the break up @ GBP. If Oscar were to bring Schaefer back, then I think they could repeat 2013 easily! Haymon has 120+ fighters, so matches can be made. My point is that Oscar was working hard, Arum was giving lip-service, but it seens Arum is going another way. Why would I want to see Vargas over Danny Garcia? Why would you?

So Manny vs Vargas is the fights the fans want to see; hell nobody wants to see the Algeri fight. Schaefer put on better cards than anybody.

I don't think so... Algieri got the fight by spoiling Provodnikov who was before that seen as one of the most feared boxers in any division.

The pickings are very slim at Top Rank. I told some of these guys long ago that Vargas would be a legitimate option for Pacquaio.

Arum will put Vargas in the ring with Pacquaio before he puts him against Garcia, Matthysse, or any Golden Boy fighters.
