Good move for both Haymon and the talented Derevyanchenko, an exciting fighter who'll now be seen on Showtime.

Nooo! Not another decent fighter lost into the Haymon league.

And WTF? He's Ukranian, not Russian...

Most of the talented East European boxers never have a chance because they don't have an influential promoter/manager going to bat for them.

So it's good to see someone talented like Derevyanchenko signing with Haymon, he won't be lost in limbo.

I imagine we'll see him on NBC Sports and/or Showtime now.

We should be getting some pretty good fights NBC, and Showtime in the future. What if guys like Chavez Jr, Ward, and M. Garcia also sign with him when their contracts are up.

Could be... Haymon seems to be taking a significant gamble right now, if it works it could pay off really well for the fighters who were involved on the ground floor, but it's also possible that Haymons vision (whatever form it ultimately takes) could flop...

If that is case case we can only hope that it doesn't do too much damage to the long term careers of the large number of great talents he has assembled.
