Comments Thread For: Roach: If Pacquiao Hurts Algieri, He Wil Finish Him

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is still "hungry" to fight, despite a dalliance with professional basketball that had his camp worried sick. The 35-year-old, who has world titles in eight weight divisions under his belt, defends his title against undefeated Chris Algieri in Macau on November 22nd.

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, worked the corner of Ruslan Provodnikov when he faced Algieri in June. Algieri got off the floor in the first round, twice, and boxed his way to a twelve round split decision to capture the WBO welterweight crown.

Roach says Pacquiao is a much better finisher than Provodnikov, and predicts Pacquiao will end Algieri in a similar situation.

I think Roach is a really good trainer but please stop with the knock out talk! Roach claimed Pac would knock out Bradley (twice), Rios, Marquez, etc. Maybe if it was coming from Manny, I would believe it but please shut up Roach! I think Roach wants to be more famous than his fighters! Just like Floyd Sr.

What Pacquiao needs is Satan for real. All this Christian / Jesus crap has got him soft as hell.

He needs the fire of the devil to turn him into a vicious machine again.

Really Freddy? You sure he won't hold him up like he did to Rios or ask him if he's OK like he did to Margarito? Manny sold his soul to the Devil (Arum) and gave his balls to God. It's up to you, Fredrick, to get Pac Man back to his evil ways.
