Main difference being the punches Kovalev throws in the clinch could probably put Hopkins on the canvas. He needs to be rough, especially if Hopkins comes out in "clinch like a b*tch" mode.

Besides, what strategy is Kovalev going to have here? He's a volume power puncher. He wants to knock you out. He isn't going to outbox Hopkins, so he has to go at him.

The thing to remember is that Kovalev doesn't have to land a lot of punches, because every one of his punches hurt like hell.

100 Kovalev punches do more damage than 200 Calzaghe punches.

Exchanging is ******, and B-hop is anything but that. He is going to frustrate Krusher, and cut him whether from punch or headbutt, and Kovlev showed that once he's cut he gets confused
