I think that's already safe to assume, I see nothing to suggest it.

Manny's getting light because he's going to be running for his life in this fight.

You would too if this guy was coming to get you.

If you think Crawford has shown he may end up being a great fighter, then it's your standards that have to be put into question, not mines. Great fighters are rare to come by.

Undefeated, won his belt on enemy soil, has shown to overcome adversity. Can switch hit on the fly, can box or punch. Yeah it's my standards that should be questioned lol.

I'm curious what boxers you think have potential to be great fighters. Nobody probably. Hope to god you don't think broner is a great fighter cause.....

Good fighter I suppose but I don't expect him to go very far. Gamboa made him look bad in the first 5 rounds if I remember correctly, considering how out of his depth he was at '35, that's telling. Then again I sort of expected that.
Well, nobody expected Gamboa to be easy work for Crawford so it's no surprise if he outclassed Crawford earlier in the fight. That should, however, make Crawford's win look even more impressive as it was not by just keeping his composure but also being smart, seeing how switching southpaw helped him take over the fight.

It's hard to believe that you don't think anything of his win over Gamboa.

Being able to counter a short, short-armed Gamboa who is forced to reach in isn't that impressive, especially at LW. It's bad enough he was struggling early on but again that's not surprising to me, his punching technique isn't very good, neither is his speed and his head/ upper body movement isn't quick either. This is why Gamboa was tagging him, I think he's in trouble if he doesn't improve on some of those things.

Potential to be great, I can only think of Andrade and Golovkin at the moment.

Switching to southpaw helped him out a lot, weird because he doesn't fight well out of that stance at all but against Gamboa it worked wonders. His straight left is garbage out of that stance, his right hook (Which worked well against Gamboa) is an even shittier punch.

I have to ask though, how is that suppose to impress me when Gamboa is forced to exchange because of the size deficit? He is clearly out of his depth at LW and if not Crawford, someone else would have done it to Gamboa.
