It's Bob Arum. Not like he has any other options for Pacquiao. And I'm sure they'd try to make a Danny Garcia fight at 140, if that's actually a possibility and not just empty talk.

I'd like to see Crawford fight some better fighters first, but I don't think that's too terrible. Might be better than Algieri. Crawford's fought at 140 before, and is a big lightweight.

Arum is not going to give up any of the potential money that he can make on an in-house Pac fight.
It doesn't seem like Garcia is even in the Top Rank picture at this point but boy what a ****ty fight that would be. These fights do nothing for his legacy or his pockets. Just Arum's.

Nah it's terrible. This isn't a lightweight Mosley we're talking about here. This dude got rocked by a blown up, barely active and overrated Gamboa. Pass. But you're right, it's Arum we're talking here. I wouldn't put it past him but it would be a horrible way for Pacquiao to go out

So according to you garcia beating pacquiao would do nothing to his legacy? Interesting.

Pacquiao should be fighting at 135 or 140lbs. The fact that he's been fighting guys at 147lbs, up to catchweights of what was it? 150lbs with Margarito? That's crazy talk. He's clearly a 140lbs and below fighter with the pop being devastating at the lower weights and is now just impact power, nothing concussive like it used to be.

leaving his options open for two divisions of fighters-not rocket science!-pretty sure he can put 5..count 'em..5 pounds on at any given time.
