Great fight. Wasn't a hugfest like Povetkin's last one.

Povetkin has looked a lot better since he lost his undefeated record.

He's still a player in the division, but he should avoid a Wlad rematch.

I'd like to see him against the Wilder Stiverne winner.

I really enjoyed that card. Better than most of the $70 diva ppvs we're tricked into watching.

Glad to see that Bayless learned from the terrible job he did on the Mayweather/Maidana II fight.

Hey we all can have an "off night"

Funny hearing the Rooskies calling the fight, especially during the replays.
                HA

But watching the whole fight, I certainly didn't see Povetkin getting manhandled early/mid rounds like the writer made it sound. Looked more like Takam did not slowly break Povetkin down, and Povetkin DID slowly break Takam down. Povetkin has never been known as a defensive wizard, but he is a solid chunk of gristle. Wicked KO though.

Do you really think the 2nd Mayweather fight was a coincidence?

The replay from another direction shows it was a left hook thrown after the right that put Takam down and out.

Very entertaining and competitive fight through the first eight rounds. Povetkin definitely has some whiskers on him.
