Who IYO would win between Golovkin and Kovalev?

I don't get your wording? Anyway, Kovalev wins at 175 imo.If they were allowed to fight at their current weights of 160 and 175lbs. I know it's not possible at those weights, but hypothetically.
I think GGG would have a good chance of beating Kovalev. 15lbs isn't the biggest difference in the world, Pacquiao beat up a 20lbs heavier Margarito and in the Heavyweight division often enough fighters 15lbs lighter than their opponent wins.
Kovalev has said that Golovkin hits like a sledgehammer, so GGG could hurt Kovalev. On the other side of the coin, Kovalev could definitely hurt GGG too.
Confirmed by Kovalev, who said he was out of shape at the time while Golovkin was preparing for a fight. Like you, I'd still pick Kovalev at 175.Comment

When did Golovkin become an ATG? Dude hasn't even had the opportunity to prove he's worth all this hype. You want to judge him as if he's an ATG already based of some fan boys claiming he's a special fighter.Comment

Fighters who fight others well above their weight, don't often fight massive punchers like Kovalev, who some tip to be the absolute best of their division without dispute
Allow me to use Floyd/Canelo as an example. There was a clear weight disparity there, but Canelo isn't a massive puncher by any stretch of the imagination, nor was he tipped to be the man of his division (Floyd was). Especially after he claimed a disputed victory over Trout.
But i'm not picking on Floyd, we can use Pacquiao-Maragarito for the same logic
In this scenario, Kovalev is an absolute beast of a puncher, one punch and GGG's game will change. The weight is an issue, but only because Kovalev hits so hard for his weight class. If he had mediocre power, fair enough.Comment

Who is saying Kovalev is the best at 175 and why? because he has ko'd c class fighters?Fighters who fight others well above their weight, don't often fight massive punchers like Kovalev, who some tip to be the absolute best of their division without dispute

He never said he was the best. He was saying that compared to the difference between GGG and Kovalev and Canelo/Floyd, is that Kovalev is really heavy handed, whereas Canelo is not, contrary to what many of his fans believe. It's not only a weight disparity, it's the overall power difference between divisions. Yeah Golovkin hits hard as **** as well, but as he said, if Kovalev didn't have that kind of power, it could be compared to Canelo/Floyd. But alas, it's not quite the same.Comment

look Floyd is a special fighter and Golovkin is not that's why the standards are different. If you're great expect to be treated differently than the rest.
