HBO expert analyst and former four division world champion, Roy Jones Jr., is leaning in the direction of his former opponent, WBA/IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (55-6-2, 32KOs), to defeat WBO champion Sergey Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KOs) on November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Jones, who defeated Hopkins in 1993 and then lost to him seventeen years later in 2010, gives his conqueror a good shot to win - as long as he's able to withstand the likely early storm. Kovalev has never gone beyond eight rounds, stopping most of his victims in the first six rounds.
