WBC Silver heavyweight champion Carlos Takam(30-1-1, 23 KOs), will defend his crown against Russia's Alexander Povetkin (27-1, 19 KOs) in downtown Moscow on Saturday night. Takam won the title in his last fight defeating Tony Thompson on points in June, in a bout that took place on the Marcel Cerdan de Houts de Seine Sports Palace in France. Povetkin is coming off an impressive knockout of Manuel Charr, conquering the WBC International title in the process. [Click Here To Read More]

This is a GREAT, fairly evenly-matched HW fight.
This is the future of the HW division, IMO. As much as I love Wlad, he's just too damn good for everyone!
I like the idea of a dominant HW champ, but I also like to see evenly matched HW fights like this.
When Wlad retires, and I'm not looking forward to it or anything, there will be fights like this every few months. As guys like Wilder, Stiverne, Takam, Povetkin, Fury, Glazkov, Jennings, and even guys like Price, Arreola, Cunningham, and Thompson...Comment
