Why would he fight the guy who's already beaten him via UD? Another fight with Mayweather is pointless.

    Canelo, then GGG or nothing.

Not exactly surprising. What else is there for Cotto in the sport after another couple (assumed) megafights?

Don't hang around if you don't want to. Cotto has nothing left to prove.

If he fights and beats Canelo he will get a very good offer to fight Triple G. I heavyly doubt that he will walk away from a great offer and that fight can still be made in 2015

GGG can take care of him first and then Canelo can have whats left of him.

Cotto is a great boxer but he doesn't want to fight GGG and he will retire to make sure he doesn't have to.

He doesn't need to fight GGG or retire, he still has a lot of options like just moving back to 154 or meet some WW's at a catchweight. He can duck GGG which is best for his health and at the moment it's also better for his wallet.

If Cotto has taken care of his money he should retire in one year. Why get your brains scrambled and let your reputation take a hit when you are already set for life?

Miguel will not duck him. I think that he will quiet all when he takes the fight.
