I said this on NSB rodio show that walters should fight Johnny next and if Loma fight Gradovich/Velez winner than next year were going to have a big unification fight. TR should put these fights on the same card to build up hype for this fight.

Loma should fight some B-Level opponents first, get more experience at the pro-game. He is not ready for a guy like Walters. Im sure Walters beats the **** out of him. Walters vs. Gonzales is better for now. if i would be Walters i would not be interested to fight a 2-1 guy as well, no matter how good he was in the amateurs.

Loma gives Walters problems, he ain't ready for Loma yet. Especially if they give him the ring that he fought Gary Russell in, f'n soccer field. I'd want Walters to win though, just can't see it yet. Couple more fights with real comp maybe like the donaire fight but his jab is lazy and his inside game ain't f'n with loma's.

Someone will eventually remind Walters that he works for Bob Arum, not the other way around. Therefore, he doesn't get to decide who he wants to fight. Arum does. Since Gonzalez is signed to GBP, Walters will either fight Lomachenko or some stiff no one has ever heard of in his next fight.

For a guy still working his way up and building a name for himself, no question Johnny Gonzalez is the BIGGER MATCH UP. But I love the fact that Walters wants to continue to fight the best in his Division!
