Both are unifications, either one would be great. Walters-Gonzalez, Lomachenko-Gradovich/Velez. Winners fight each other for WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, The Ring, TBRB, lineal FW titles.

salido came in too heavy though... he didnt put his health at risk by shedding the extra pounds which was why he was so strong in that fight.....look at the salido that showed upto fight mikey garcia?? he was non existent and mikey is that good of a fighter that he beats salido at any weight...

and i like johnny but he was getting beat by guys his own size for so long that when he was percieved as a shot fighter he fought a guy who was smaller in mares and arce and looked great.... but walters is equall maybe even bigger in size and johnny would get knocked out nishioka style bro.... not a superfight in my eyes by any means..

loma vs walters is thee fight to make imo...id watch jonnhy/walters but id be more excited about loma/walters...

If Johnny does fight Walters... where would it be? I think judges won't matter, so it just comes down to where brings the most money to both sides

Yeah that fight won't go the distance. Jhonny has a weak chin and we saw Walters hurt against Donaire, and Jhonny is a bigger puncher than Donaire.

I could see this fight going down in L.A., maybe the Forum or back to Carson.

Salido's chin is garbage at any weight, if Loma was all that he was hyped up to be he would have knocked Salido out. Salido's been getting dropped left and right by C level fighters. Loma hasn't done anything in his pro career, he beat a bum in his first fight, lost to Salido, then beat the TBA assassin for a vacant belt. Gonzalez/Walters is the much better fight.

salido is garbage but he had a weight advantage over loma which was my point to why loma lost to salido....and it was a close fight IIRC...

johhny/walters is a good fight but to me man walters would over power him in a fight that breaks out in a war...at least with loma he will give walters a different look beacause he is a very skilled fighter that is still in his prime, and has excellent boxing skills imo

Even @ going on 35 Jhonny's a handful, vdry underestimated..He would have beaten Donaire, but props to Walters.

If they fight w/in a year, I' guess @ StubHub, I take Jhonny.

Shame on the ones trying to say the Gonzales/Walters fight is better. If Walters was something else he would be called a ducker for saying what he said. He's obviously trying to take the easier fight. You're supporting it to help his odds. Seems like he's trying to avoid Lomachenko. I don't blame him. Can't have another Russell situation. That would make two in a row for Lomachenko.

Also shame on the guys saying Salido sucks. If he's so bad then why does he keep winning? Using the weight excuse is ****** since some of you cheer when someone you like does it, like say Crawford, to beat up smaller fighters. Salido won. Loma lost. Get over it. It's sad how unproven hypejob prospects like errol spence cause people here to salivate but hate on Salido.
