Now, we hear nothing about Matthysse, but the same things are being said about GGG. The same thing that happened to Matthysse will happen to GGG. As soon as he faces a quality opponent, he will be exposed. GGG's team has enough sense to realize that and that is why they are calling out smaller opponents like Cotto, Alvarez and Mayweather instead of moving up in weight to 168.
    1. Matthysse wasn't a 2 times world amateur champion and olympic medalist. I think that's the main difference between the 2. The smaller opponent Cotto IS the lineal MW champion. If you don't want to defend the title against real MWs - vacate. End of story. 3. Alvareze's last 2 fights were at 155-156, which is MW limit. 4. Who doesn't want to fight Floyd? I would chop my legs off to fight him Even LHW BH said he wants to fight him at 160, SMW Ward said he wants to fight Floyd at 160. Unlike them GGG is ready to fight him at 154. Isn't Floyd JMW champion?

Froch/Ward are easier fights for Chavez than GGG.

I can't see how he has a chance against either of them. Both would light him up.
