Yeah, Bob is talking about what he prefers imo. It's clear from Chavez that he and Arum don't communicate.

Yeah but if the winner is Hopkins he's already said he doesn't want to fight Ward. So that rules that out.

Watch when Andre gets stripped, which is possible. All these M'Fkers will come out of nowhere to grab his belt. Ward will then be shut out. His only true attraction to land a big fight was that trinket. He will be Rigendeaux'd

did i miss something, why does froch have a hard on for chavez. its not a relevant fight other than a reason to have one last fight in vegas or anywhere else in the U.S.

in contrast GGG v Ward would be nothing compared to GGG v Cotto/Canelo
Maybe, maybe not. But one thing we do know, Ward will actually fight GGG and the Cotto-Nelo winner probably won't. Right now, Ward and GGG are each others' best available fight. Especially in Cali. GGG recently drew well in Cali. And seems to do better there than on the East Coast. Ward draws well in Oakland. Personally, I don't understand why people think Cotto-Nelo is a guaranteed box office hit. Nor why the winner and GGG is a guaranteed seller. Cotto and Nelo's last PPVs bombed and GGG is a PPV ******.

Maybe, but he's earned the right to do whatever he wants.

I don't believe Chavez would get more money fighting Froch:

                    1. The fight will sell out no matter where it is on the west coast against either Froch or Golovkin (and not because of Chavez, who even though has awesome tv ratings, he has had trouble selling tickets lately because Mexicans are ashamed of him).
                    2. GGG is just as much if not more well known than Froch in the United States now.
                    3. Maybe I'm wrong, but the British TV money would go mostly to Froch, right?
                    4. Golovkin wants a PPV fight bad and his side would most definitely give Chavez a much bigger revenue split than Froch would just to get the fight.

I think Froch and Golovkin would both beat Chavez, but the Froch fight would be more competitive. Golovkin-Chavez is a more of a fun slaughter....I think Bob should push for that one so when Chavez leaves TR, he leaves damaged.

Chavez will make more money against Froch; hence, why he wants that fight. The other guy will not fight Ward or anybody closer to that; watch him fight more stiffs and pedestrian types like Rubio. That's been his MO so far.
