He's coming off of a loss. It's important to get him back in the win column before trying to promote a big welterweight fight and by the way Diego Chavez is no joke. Personally I would have put him in with a softer opponent.

Anyway, this is how boxing works. You want to make sure he is still all there mentally and you want to build his confidence. We never know how a fighter looks after suffering his first loss.

I have witnessed that many fighters are just not the same after experiencing their first loss. I suspect that Bradley will be just fine though. Provided he beats Chavez convincingly, a Thurman fight is in order.

I have a feeling that this is going to be one of the better fights this year. I had Chaves winning, before that bs DQ, in the Rios fight. Yes Chaves fought dirty during that fight, but so did Rios. Bradley can also be somewhat of a dirty fighter, but i think that only adds to the excitement of the fight.

Meh, Alvarado and Rios are damn near shot (if not yet, they will be after they beat each other's brains in a 3rd time) so Bradley would easily school them and we already saw Chaves pretty much beat Rios in an ugly fight. Much better fights for both guys, especially for Bradley, on the horizon. Alvarado and Rios are on the path to journeymen status very quickly, Bob will use them as stepping stones for up and coming guys.
