    Thurman vs Bundu

Thoughts on this fight? It looks like it's happening on the Khan vs Alexander undercard.

I'm quite happy with it, Bundu is a solid guy and if Thurman beats him I think he becomes Brook's mandatory. I wonder if Thurman's team targeted this fight knowing that. Thurman vs Brook imo is the fight to make at 147.

It's a big letdown to be honest. What can we really learn from this fight

Anything that puts Keith in position to get a legit title shot and a chance to get him to the next level I'm on board for. His time is coming, 2015 will tell us if he's the real deal or not. I can't wait.

Thurman should win fairly easily. It's kinda like GGG-Rubio. It's not the best fight but at least there's a reason behind it which is getting into a mandatory position to fight for a title. That's what these so called "avoided" guys need to do.

Who would you rather see him fight? I would've preferred Guerrero because he has a bigger name than Bundu but I can't conclusively say he's a better fighter. Nobody in the top 10 is available atm now that Khan vs Alexander is scheduled to happen.

He's already ranked #1 by WBA and they haven't enforced a mandatory fight yet (probably because Floyd is the champ), so they probably don't wanna wait until Floyd retires before getting a title shot. I wonder how quickly the IBF will enforce the mandatory though, with Brook aiming for a Khan fight, he might look for a way around this. It's an interesting situation. I wonder if he will just take the fight if Khan fights Floyd.

The only thing I'm concerned about is more months of "who the heck has Thurman beaten?". That's why I was hoping for the Alexander fight.

Bundu does seem to have a decent resume though, so if Thurman does win, people should still give the credit he deserves.

IBF seem to be much stricter as far as mandatories go. Especially when the title holder is not named Mayweather or Pacquiao. Brook will probably have to fight him by next summer-ish.

My god you're seriously obsessed with Thurman. Your journeyman idol ducked this bum, amigo. Accept it and move on.
