If it was a dive, Rubio picks up some extra cash and doesn't have to subject himself to long night of getting his skull bashed in... If it wasn't about any extra money, then he was just thinking he's gonna lose anyways, might as well keep the money he's got from the fight and whatever brain cells he has left....

either way... didn't see too much of the mexican warrior in that fight...

It was a bit strange. A mixture of conflicting factors though, Rubio is expected/seen to be tough and he wasn't here so it looks odd. Add to the fact it was the first time he was really hurt in the fight and he was fine seconds after the ten count, I can see where Roy's coming from.

What's also weird is how post fight he's come out and said he's been hit harder. Then why weren't you able to continue then Rubio?

I think it was a hard short to the top of the head that dazed him more than perhaps it appeared and he accepts, from a deceivingly strong hitter. It zero'd out his tank and motivation to continue in a flash, and that's what GGG does. Guys are forced to suddenly realise they can't hang with him in the ring.

Roy knows all about being put to sleep, so I trust his judgement here....

Rubio took a dive plain & simple......... Plus referee Jack Reiss isn't the sharpest knife in the draw & it showed he might also had a bet on the fight with that fast count. Each count is suppose to be considered 1 sec, but the way he counted it took about 4-5sec to get to 10..... I hate when the ref is in on the take because they do a sloppy job at it.....

He took a dive. He could have put up a solid fight for a bit.
He came for a easy check
Didnt bother to make weight in a fight he knows he couldnt win and now he can have a quick turn around for some more cash .

Me too. Ruined the fight, I wanted to see more Golovkin of what he can do to Rubio and what Rubio can do to Golovkin down the stretch.

he felt the power, realised he hadn't got a hope in hell against this guy and so stayed down just long enough to give the ref an excuse to stop it. He could have gotten up and lasted another 20 or 30 seconds taking some more bombs but just didn't fancy it.

Rubio never had a chance anyway fight was joke

As long as GGG continues to fight these lower level guys he will keep stopping them.

Just keep GGG away from Demetrius Andrade, Peter Quillen, Andre Dirrell and Andre Ward and the hype train can keep going smoothly
