I have to pretty much agree with you BUT in the reality of boxing, there is NO GREAT fighters that move down in weight to fight people instead of moving up with the strange exception of Pacquiao once or twice. Thats just a disadvantage for a fighter, if GGG is as good as he seems he should move up to 168 and challenge thats what great fighters do.

So what you're saying is, Ward, by refusing to go seek challenges at 175, is not a great fighter? Is that why he's waiting for a smaller man to move up?

NEW YORK – A middleweight championship unification fight against Miguel Cotto probably is the most unlikely of Gennady’s Golovkin’s potential options to actuall

WBA Middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin is less than 2 weeks away from headlining his first fight at Madison Square Garden in New York when he takes on what

The team behind super middleweight king Andre Ward (27-0, 14KOs), manager James Prince and legal adviser Josh Dubin, spoke to BoxingScene.com to respond to some

Who needs more evidence that Team GGG, wants nothing to do with Ward.

Andre Ward was willing to go down for Floyd, but not GGG.

GGG is trying to unify the titles at his weight, no reason for him to move up to be honest. According to his delusional fanbase, Ward has cleaned his division. What is the logical thing to do when you do? Move up right?

I need more evidence that Ward wants to fight anyone period. One fight in over two years?

I'm going to tell you this: Chavez Jr is not an easy fight. A lot of people say [it's easy] but that's not an easy fight. He's a big kid, he's a strong kid and he can punch." -Andre Ward April, 2013
Andre Ward says he’d like to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr if the Mexican star moves up to super middleweight in the near future.

Right now, Froch is behind the scenes trying to get what he perceives as the weak link, which is Chavez Jr. - Andre Ward January, 2014
WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward discussed his rival, IBF champion Carl Froch, who always states that he wants to have rematch with the undefeated Oly

Incorrect. Ward had that holier than thou attitude like it was an insult to even talk about from the start, then he and his team were inconsistent about the fight with mixed messages. Only recently has his lawyer been sending tweets to HBO.

Jones, the reigning IBF middleweight champion since defeating the previously once defeated Bernard Hopkins on May 22, 1993, had defended the middleweight belt only once before vacating the title in order to move up to the super middleweight division and challenge Toney. The men were considered to be two of the top fighters in the sport.[2] Toney was ranked number two in the pound-for-pound rankings, while Jones was number three. Only then-WBC welterweight champion Pernell Whitaker was ranked ahead of them.

Ward should move up to 175. nothing left to prove at 168 he has beaten them all and now he can't get fights there ... apparently. Plenty of fights for him at 175. Stevenson or the winner of Hopkins/Kovalev for starters.

I slay Ward all the time for being a boring diva but if they fight it should be at super mw. GGG doesn't have to go up though, he's doing his thing at middleweight. While Ward is doing a bunch of nothing right now.
