Except that Marquez has power to make you reconsider jumping all over him and has hella boxing IQ from his massive amount of rounds he's had as a pro and from his training with a great man in Nacho.

What Algeri needs to realize about Marquez is that by the time he first fought Manny, Marquez had a professional record of 42-2. It is not just Marquez's technical expertise, but his experience that allowed him to adapt to Manny's rhythm and style. Chris...you don't have much experience...which is why you shouldn't be in there...but good luck to you..:

I think people are forgetting that even pre-memo Marquez had good power in his single shots, and his combos were fight ending. That's why there fights are always close,Pac can't just steamroll a skilled counterpuncher with power. Pac 3 he started experimenting with roids (won the fight imo), Pac 4 it all came together(ktfo6). The alvarado fight he was a full blown juicehead, showing up to the fight with acne on his chest and back not giving a damn.

Marquez's style worked because he can and willing to take a beating in order to counter PAC.......

Marquez was getting punished when he didn't guess right and Marquez was at times the aggressor. It's marquez's mentality and chin that made his technique effective.
