Cotto's talent is way past Quillin. But Quillin's punching power and Cotto being a small guy for 154 let alone 160, don't like that match for him. Cotto probably beats up somebody like Geale who is a mediocre puncher or survives some scary moments against Canelo who is more of a hard clubbing combo puncher than an explosive, one punch puncher like Kid Chocolate. Wouldn't be sure though. Still Cotto could definitely hurt Quillin too and MIGHT even avoid the big shot till the end and outclass him.

I guess Cotto would win a decision but I need to see more Quillin fights to really say.

How are people this delusional? Tureano Johnson would beat Cotto so would prospects like Murata and Khytrov with under ten fights. Quillin is a disgrace to the sport but he's a big hard hitting middleweight with decent enough skill and would brutally knock Cotto out inside 5 rounds.

Unfortunately the poll isn't public, cuz I really wanted to see who voted Quillin by KO.

Peter lacks experience imo cotto would beat him down.

Would he get a chance to though? Cotto came out pretty fast against Rodriguez and Martinez, and Quillin is imo protecting glass.

I'd favour Quillin, but wouldn't completely rule out Cotto, I think it's a 70-30 fight.

Cotto will bring the pressure upon Quillin and make him fight on the back foot. Miguel will find him and shatter his glass, which I know Quillin has some!!

Cotto easy UD. I wouldn't rule out a late round KO. Quillen's one of the most protected fighters in boxing though, it'll never happen.
