He also said multiple times that he would fight him.

Why hold one higher than the other? Froch has fought absolutely everyone he was supposed to, why would he be scared of GGG?

Post the entire interview and not just selected quotes to suit your agenda.

Golovkin won't fight Ward because he's not ready and Ward is too much for him.

Ward gets stopped or KO'd by nine. It will be nip and tuck for the first few rounds but the bludgeoning GGG will put on him during those first few rounds will take him down quickly. Ward may go by 4.

If GGG has to box , no problem, what do you think he did in over 300 armature fights, swing for the fences ?

Ward ain't gonna dance he's gonna fight, he will have his moments but the power will get to him like it does everyone else.

The guy is pathetic. Froch says in the very same interview that if he's given the best offer to fight GGG, he'd take the fight.

These guys have very little to celebrate in terms of Golovkin's resume so they have to selectively quote and create perceived ducks in order to feel better about their fighter's distinctly average career.

Cause he punches like a mule, I guess. Froch is a warrior no doubt, and will fight anyone for the right price, just that in this case the price is very high:

Froch: "Just swerve Golovkin like the plague. He punches like a mule. I don’t need to be in with him. Dangerous fight."

Froch clarifies the above lol: "It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him"

Hearn: "Froch is financially comfortable, but that doesn’t mean he’ll get in the ring for less than he deserves, and that is a horrible, dangerous fight."

he wont hit ward enough to stop him and he sure as hell wont outbox him...Ward fights well inside and out...boxes and counters....walks you down and moves laterally....GGG gotta show more wrinkles than knocking out and stopping overmatched opponents for me to say he beats the best most versatile boxer of his generation. " fighters born after 1980"

Ward has shown he can deal with a variety of styles at the top level....GGG not so much....Also Ward is younger won a gold medal and has that attitude of love...his self believe is through the charts and he prepares great and stays hungry...IF GGG beat of kayo'ed WARD, Sign me up on the next ride on the GGG express. Could he beat Ward? Yes....whats more probable? Ward wins

Golovkin would be lucky to steal 2 rounds. Would be one of the eeasiest fights of Wards career. Sidenote GGG hasnt fought anyone with half the talent of Ward. GGG has one of the worst resumes of any top fighter.

Hits hard, mixes it up with combinations to the body and head, and cuts off the ring exceptionally well. It would be an amazing match up.
I don't know about that bc Bayless refereed Hatton vs Malignaggi and Malignaggi was holding like crazy on the inside and Bayless wasn't doing anything to break them up. He did get paid well by the Mayweather camp.

And why wouldn't it be? He earned 8-9 million pounds for his last fight. He's already been offered a guarantee of £4million to fight James DeGale. The potential Chavez Jr fight would likely offer a lot more.

Can GGG offer anything close to this? The price is not very high, it's just the going rate if you want to secure the services of a fighter of Carl Froch's calibre.

He aint fighting for 900k on free HBO.

Froch needs HW money to fight a MW. That's why I gots my Reign of Terror sig. Never seen such a thing before in my life as a boxing fan. Bigger dude, a warrior no less, asking for a huge purse to fight someone a weight class below. Smh.
