Stevens would land good and stun Froch before Froch would go on to win by stoppage or UD.

From what I remember: down hard vs Taylor, stunned vs Dirrell, stunned vs Kessler, down hard vs Groves and stunned multiple times. Possibly stunned by a Ward left hook and Glencoffe landed some good shots but I can't remember if they were of the stunning variety or if Froch just looked goofy from being careless.
kinda funny that when you're making your case for GGGs chin being on par with Froch that you name all of the opponents that had success vs Froch and every one of them is head and shoulders above anyone GGG has fought

It depends where Ward actually is right now. He has been on a layoff for awhile now. But Ward only has to be at least 70% of himself and he would have a pretty comfortable time with GGG. GGG is going to have to move up soon anyway because 160 is kind of a joke atm. I really wish certain middleweights would stop making excuses not to fight him and just push to fight him. I know money means everything to a lot of these guys because they have families but at the same time you have to have some kind of pride.

Ward is going to win and it probably will not be close. GGG needs to stay at 160lbs. Too much trouble at 168 and not just from Ward.

But bum ass Stevens is good enough to hurt Froch? Lol...do you listen to yourself? Froch's chin is overrated? Once again, the irony is stinging.

Groves is better than anyone on GGG's resume so I don't see how he isn't good enough. He's much bigger than anyone GGG has fought, faster and hits very hard.

WTF, how did this thread devolve to the point of people thinking Stevens might hurt Froch? Wow.

God please, I had to tell you earlier to stop saying this, it's silly. Golovkin faced Kovalev & cruserweights in sparring, but you somehow believe Groves is much bigger than anyone he's ever fought and punches harder?

Listen, Groves caught Froch flush, but I got no clue why you're making out like he's a monster puncher, I think that's reaching, very much. The lack of evidence suggests Groves didn't do **** in sparring, simple.

Don't bother replying about Stevens, I never said anything remotely related to him. On topic, I actually believe what makes Froch so resilient is his very fast recovery, I think his chin is good but he's been dropped and shook a few times, he just recovers in the blink of an eye.

I meant Groves is bigger and punches harder than anyone he's fought in his pro career. Groves is very fast and throws accurately off the backfoot. Golovkin has no real defence, it's not out of the question that Groves could deck him with a right hand.

With a FAIR and HONEST referee who prevents Ward from his usual illegal tactics (head butts, clinching and clamping arms) etc GGG wins by KO, despite Ward being the much bigger man.

In other words...."I have my excuses ready for when GGG loses to Ward"

Depends. With Bayless reffing, GGG wins because he won't let Ward employ those ugly tactics. Ward is bigger, longer, and a natural super middleweight. He also controls distance and dictates tempo very well. It would be good, because GGG is a beast. Hits hard, mixes it up with combinations to the body and head, and cuts off the ring exceptionally well. It would be an amazing match up.
