There probably wont be any more championship fights scheduled before years end. So I took the liberty to summarize the middleweight scene in 2014 through a list of significant fights.

All in all the championfights were really weak. Golovkin couldnt get elite opponents in the ring. (not his fault) Cotto after demolishing Sergio Martinez is waiting the year out. The IBF title with Sturm, Soliman and Taylor is rather irrelevant. And we all know about Peter Quillin.

Besides the Champions, there arent real contenders to enter the game.
Next Year we will probably see Chudinov, Murray and David Lemieux in title fights.
