I may be in the minority here, but I feel that Walters has a bit of work to do. He threw that straight right out there, often....and left himself wide open.

I'm not sure if he was letting those shots soak in or not....but it seemed like he let Donaire recover in the 4th, after he dropped him at the end of the 3rd.

In addition to this, he fought very close and smothered his own offense most of the night. Donaire is/was talented enough to land those short hooks and uppercuts early on...not many guys will be able to pull that off.

Walters is a big guy for the division, but that means nothing if he's willing to give it all away. I'll give it to him this time, it was his first big fight, but he needs to tighten up on that quick, fast, and in a hurry.

After U. Bolt?? As in Usain Bolt? FYI he has never tested positive for PED's. Stop being a hater. Get your facts straight. I'm sure you were one of the butt hurt "Donaire will KO him, he is too slow" guys that were chirping before the fight.

Yep. I agree. There are some holes he needs to fix. I hope his father who trains him can address this. Otherwise it's best that he'd consider a world class trainer who can get him to the next level. He can make some noise at 126 and potentially 130

Damn, Donaire almost had him, he should of boxed him. Good fight, much respect to both fighters, boxing needs more fights like this.

and I disagree with you Donaire had him but the bell rung he just might have took him out. Had Donaire box him and not try to use his size like he has been doing on the midgets he has been fighting lately he might have won. HE NEEDED TO BOX NOT SLUG IT OUT

Donaire was humble in defeat, it's sad that his fans can't be.

At the same time, I'm not quick to praise Donaire for his humility at the end. What was he going to say after getting knocked out? There is no way he could have spun that to make himself look good so he did the only thing that would, be humble. When Rigo beat Donaire by 1 sided decision, Nonito found excuses because he didn't get KO'd so he had room for buts and if's. Now that he got slept of course he's going to be humble about it because if he made an excuse for losing by KO he would have looked like a straight fool.

So although it was good to hear/see, I don't praise Donaire for it. He's showed his true colors a few times in the past, gunna take much more than one moment of humility for me to consider him humble

Rigo better stay where he's at....
