I don't know why some Donaire haters keep saying he only picked on smaller fighters. At least he had the guts to move up and call out the best in 126. That says a lot about the fighter. He even fought rigo when many are ducking him. Donaire hasn't ducked anybody.

That's because when guys get demolished, that's when haters come out. Donaire has taken on anybody...I respect him for that he's given the fans a lot.

I have been saying this a long time but Donaire has risen too many weight classes. Each division he went up he looked slower and less powerful.

That's true you can actually see it he was just trying to do too much climbing weight classes at such a late age in his career

The only thing I can agree with you on is that Donaire did fight undersized opponents BUT he was in a lower weight class and Doniare was just naturally bigger.

Donaire was anything but overhyped. He was a crowd pleasing sensational fighter who had a remarkable career. Everything he accomplished he rightfully earned.

It's just laughable how guys like you come out of the woodworks to kick a man when he is down. You speak of Donaire as if he was just another Seth Mitchell

There's nothing sensational about manufacturing an impressive record and pound-for-pound status through savvy matchmaking. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. Donaire looked great against opponents even fans like you acknowledge were undersized, and made all sorts of excuses when he was made to look foolish by top-level opposition.

I do give Donaire credit for admitting that he got brutalized tonight despite his best efforts. That's a milestone for Donaire but unfortunately, it's clear that he doesn't have the ability or the desire to fight anybody who is going to challenge him. His balance and footwork tonight were almost amateurish and you can tell he doesn't have the mental wherewithal to battle with somebody who he knows can hurt him.

Walters is legit. Like his attitude and demeanor. Hope he works on avoiding big counters. He was hurt after that big shot. I think he'll clean that up and learn from it.
