          I don't think Cotto is in the same class as Trinidad. Cotto is a very good fighter but Trinidad is an all time great. Trinidad was a champion at 20 years old and had 15 successful welterweight title defenses in a row winning 12 of those by ko. The only welterweights he didn't KO were Oscar, Whitaker and Camacho and nobody knocked them out at that time. Trinidad won his first 40 fights and 23 of those fights were for world titles. He went down hill after Hopkins KOed him but his unbelievable run of 40 wins without a loss and 21 successful tittle defenses tops Cotto's record.
