But against Marco Huck he got his @ss handed to him and lucked out with two judges.

A rematch with Huck is needed.
I still think povetkin's lack of conditioning was key in that fight. he looked flabby and was gassed after 4 rounds. maybe huck did have the style to cause povetkin problems but I think hes a much better fighter than what he showed that night

But it would be an awesome fight.
pretty much agree. stiverne can be lazy at times tho so povetkin may out work him. tough fight to call tho. hopefully povetkin will come in the same type of shape for now on as his last fight

He still owes Huck a rematch really. Huck got jobbed by the judges.

I'm not convinced by Povetkin based on one good performance over Charr.

Povetkin is one of those guys who can look great or stink out the joint for any given fight.

He might beat Chisora, Glazkov or Arreola.

What has Charr accomplished to make you say that? Luis Ortiz is a well schooled product of the Cuban system, he won over 340 amateur fights and placed highly a few times in the Boxing World Cup.

And as a pro he is tearing it up so far.

Charr had been looking decent against your typical journeymen type opponents. Ortiz is still green as a pro... the Kayode fight was a sham, and he honestly looked open to any kind of counter every time he'd open to throw. Acting like Ortiz is someone to avoid at this stage is humorous. Maybe down the line if he's having the same success against better competition, but surely not now.

Nobody wants to see Klitschko vs. Povetkin 2 so this is a good move. Povetkin is a good boxer but not a guy to really trouble Klitschko.

Charr is a joke, really. Hes a C-Level heavyweight and will never be a B-Level heavyweight. Charr is not good at all. Some People think he is ok just because he fought against Vitali. Ortiz is on a different Level. More power and much more skill as well.

Charr is "ok". Ortiz doesn't look much more than "ok" at this point as well. If he fought Vitali, he'd probably last 1 round like Solis did since he'd be even more open to Vitali's counters. I hope he develops into something but I have my doubts.
