    Who Wins Broner-Roberto Garcia?

Adrien Broner showed in the Chino fight a tendency to want to go to war when presented with a come forward fight like Roberto Garcia. Garcia is always the one coming forward in all of his fights, including against Antonio Margarito. We know both would be trying to put the other on the backfoot and it could make for a very explosive fight. Garcia is no Taylor. He has a solid chin, strong will and size. Broner would have the hand speed advantage but would he be able to keep Garcia off without tasting canvas? Outside of either of these guys fighting Victor Ortiz, I find this to be the logical next step for both of these guys.

why does people keep retelling this fight? he did what he was supposed to do nothing special about it. and don't forget he tried to get chino DQ'd in the 8º, he looked like a futbol player there, trying to get his opponent a red card.

broner shouldn't be labeled as a warrior.

garcia walks him down. too tough for broner

Easy because he would do the same thing in a fight with Garcia. This fight has action written all over it.

Exactly. Victor Ortiz, Broner, Collazo hell even Josesito Lopez would be solid names since Keith Thurman doesn't want the fight

Keith Thurman would destroy Broner. He would never duck him. He would take that fight if it was offered I would think. Broner is on the Haymon Garcia plan, Salka for Garcia, Molina...the other smaller unheralded Molina for Broner, then a very tough fight for him with.....Emmanuel Taylor.

Come on now, Broner isn't ready for someone on Thurman's level. Too big too strong with skills to go with it. They are going to have to cradle Broner. He could barely get past Malignaggi and arguably didn't.

140 has too many dangerous guys for Broner, as well, guys he will lose to. And I dont just mean the top three or four guys.

They are not going to want to risk another funky night for Broner. They will move carefully and try to stretch his career out. He has reached his ceiling....its Emmanuel Taylor.

Victor Ortiz would be a great fight for Broner, but, its too risky. If I am Haymon I try to get Ricky Burns to the table. Broner should be able to look good there. Then go after the biggest name / lowest risk from 135 and ride the fudge train until the cash out fight.

sad but its the Haymon era

You misread my post. I said Thurman doesn't want the Garcia fight. He said it himself on twitter. As for Broner, I'm sure he would be willing to fight Thurman but Al will never let it happen because he knows Broner will get smashed. He was willing to put in Thurman with Garcia but Keith balked. Given Garcia's reputation as a tough, rugged pressure fighter thats a bad look for Keith Thurman

Broner. Not impressed with what I've seen from Roberto Garcia.

Thurman hasn't said anything about Roberto Garcia on his twitter.

Dan Birmingham was the one who brought up the idea of a Roberto Garcia fight so Thurman obviously wouldn't have a problem with that fight.

As for the OP, I think Garcia would beat Broner up.

his twitter post was actually posted up in a thread here awhile back. this was around the time Birmingham was talking about the fight. It would be a better opponent than anyone else Haymon lines up for Keith. He should take it.
