Dont get me wrong im a Pac fan and have preferred him to Floyd but this is rubbish.
Canelo was not his biggest threat... you can't be serious? Floyd's fighting nobodies because he wants to, Pac is fighting nobodies because he has to, there is a difference. Manny lost to Marquez, tune-up against Rios, JMM won't fight him so he rematched Bradley. Now, he's fighting a champion at 140... whether or not those guys have a shot doesn't matter because Manny has no one else to fight. He badly wants that Mayweather fight and Floyd doesn't their situations are vastly different.

          No one else? Really!

And i guess JMM is the best ever cause he crushed Pac and apparently thats what it takes.

Better how? The only prime atg he beat was JMM at a catchweight he never fought at before.

of course not, but floyd and pac were fighting when there was 4 world titles so whats your point?
ok IBO, also founded in 1988. I didn't say they weren't good. You can't expect those belts to have the same prestige and respect as the WBC/WBA belts that have been around far, far longer. I'm saying this may have factored into the voting.

Who else other than pac would you have rather seen him fight at the time? It was the fight I wanted and was a threat no doubt. Also I wouldn't say either of them are fighting nobody's they are both just on another level. But if you look at it like that Floyd's opposition is better these days. I do prefer watching a competitive Pac fight but you cant say Floyd's fights are against bums man hes just that much better than anyone else out there

I wouldnt say its much better than pacs but I think his wins over Hatton, De la Hoya, Mosley and Cotto are more legit than pacs. Fair point with the Marquez fight i aggree with you there that wasnt the best Marquez but still what ever way you look at it it wasnt a bad comeback fight. Also you got to consider he's been fighting at the top level since 98. I dont need to explain who and why anyway just go on boxrec.
