I didn't like his delayed reaction to the headbutt when he suddenly fell to the canvas after being fine a few seconds ago. It looked like an attempt to win on a DQ and get out of the fight. As for his heart I want to see if he fights a bad ass next like he says he wants to because he has not fought a dangerous fighter since the Maidana loss.

I see he gets ALOT of heat on this forum......and i do see why sometimes but the kid has heart alot of fighters would of crumbled in that miadina fight...

he has a decent skill set great hand speed and i think his power will develop

he would beat peterson and garcia in my opinion........

i think because he is so connected to floyd he gets alot of backlash but he is a good solid fighter with heart.......

The reason that Broner gets so much hate is that he was being built up by American networks as the next Mayweather, as some sort of once in a generational talent but for all of us who are real boxing fans, we could tell that he was good but not on that level.

He never had and never will have the physical gifts, namely speed and reflexes to use the shoulder roll defence against good opponents. Paulie proved that, Maidana showed us exactly what happens. So yeah, cos of that he gets hate, imo anyway. Also his attitude lol.

But as an actual boxer, he's ok, a B/B+ level boxer with a good chin, decent power and ok hand speed. He'll win another title or 3 in this era of 5 titles per division but I can't see him being a dominant force ever.

One thing Broner is not, is a punk. He is the real deal and will fight ANYONE; win, lose, or draw.

Its all talk since the Maidana loss. He is calling out anyone with a decent name, which he changes on a monthly basis.

He's an Espn level fighter. He tried to flop to get a dq. He will continue to be protected until they decide to feed him to someone. This forum/ and site profoundly lost credibility to me when I saw people picking him over elite fighters and having him ranked LB for LB. The writers for this site became instantly novice when 11 out of 12 picked Broner over Maidana (Maidana had stopped Ortiz, nearly stopped khan, stopped soto Karass, and lopez. All guys who would stop Broner. )

I think a lot of smart people fell for the hype, a lot of dumb people showed their lack of knowledge and understanding of the game. Broner is my litmus test. Basically if you drink the kool aid--you're a dummy.

Look at the Mosley, Zab, Corley, Augustus fights, he got rocked in all of them
He also got his ass whooped by Peterson in sparring

Broner has the handspeed, power and combinations to rock Floyd as well and possibly stop him

He arguably lost to Paulie - he did if we're being honest.
He got beaten to a pulp by Maidana
Sc****d by ESPN fighter Taylor by the skin of his teeth

Still we're being force fed he is this great talent which he simply isn't.
Okay he has heart, his chins alright, he has good handspeed. So do a thousand other fighters. There is nothing special about him. He is not really much better than all these other TMT fighters being pushed in our faces that keep losing in essentially are cherrypicks backfiring because they are not that good and certainly not as good as advertised.
