If Walters fights aggressively and knocks Donaire out it would be a huge statement, regardless of Donaire's recent form.

It's probably smarter for him to fight cautiously for the first half of the fight and let Donaire get anxious. Donaire will give him opportunities if Walters can control the distance and make it a slow paced fight.

Well you should see it because his trainer was pretty much sparring with him doing the mitts. He was hitting Walters lol

I don't see those mitts carrying the same power as Donaire's shots. I've seen some dazzling mitt work and then the fighter gets in the ring for the real fight and none of that shows up when the bell rings. Some of the stuff you see in training that fighters do makes you want to put some money on them and then when the bell starts, none of it comes to play. It's a 60/40 fight in my opinion which makes it one of the 10 best fights of the year if both can perform. But I stopped counting how many times a fight was supposed to be scintillating and then something happens and the fight doesn't live up. Hopefully it will. Gradovich vs Velez should live up to being a war. Hopefully this one will.

If Walters say it then it may be real. If Floyd was to say that it would mean he's running faster the Usian Bolt.
