Marquez made financial sense at the time and if they had any other options they would have never given Marquez the third fight. After the third fight where Marquez made Pac look like an amateur there was no way that Pacquiao would been able to fight someone else without being labeled a duck if he didn't fight Marquez for a fourth time.
I seen him land a couple good counters.
But it was no schooling and after the fight JMM looked like he got hit in the face with a shovel. So Pac was doing something.
Thought it was a close fight but c'mon, amateur.

Nice logic.. then ODLH, Maidana, & Castillo were all robbed by Floyd; Maidana was robbed twice actually.

You need to learn how to score a fight because you got no fking idea .

        • Marquez's comments make sense. He is 4-0 with 1 KO vs. Pacquiao, but the official records list him at 1-2-1. That has to be a horrible feeling. Marquez has power but he is not a KO artist. Marquez can win every round vs. Pacquiao but the judges will never reward him with a decision because of Pacquiao's celebrity status. Marquez should have won 3 decisions in the first 3 fights vs. Pacquiao, but he did not get the verdict even once.

Marquez finished the rivalry. It ended with Pacquiao face down. We all celebrated at The Stadium in Algonquin, IL. What a night. Remember, remember the 8th of December.

Any of the 3 fights could have gone either way, as the press scores will show. If Matquez is not ready to retire, theres no better fight for him. By far the most lucrative, for a welter belt (his reason for sticking around), against a fellow midget hes got all figured out. I know he cares about memories though, so go out and make some more

They could have gone either way , but the judges all went Mannys way and that is the point Marquez is making .

The the **** did the first & second fights go Manny's way? The first fight was a freaking DRAW. No definitive winner.
The second fight was headed for another draw until Pacquiao scored the late KD, which waved it in his favor. He also had Marquez out on his feet..

The 4th fight was also going Manny's way until the KO. But don't acknowdlege this point, you wouldn't anyway.

That "late" kd happened in the third round bro

The fourth fight was going Marquez' way until the fifth round where Manny dominated the last half of the round badly hurting Marquez. Then we all know how it ended in the sixth.
