GBP card dec 6th on HBO!

Eddie Gomez is dope, but he aint ready for the big show yet. Golden Boy is pretty thin as far as headliners goes right now, the only ones are Canelo, B-Hop, Mauricio Herrera, and Gabe Rosado. Only two of those guys are even big time headliners, and 3 of them are unavailable for dec. 6.

Oscar knows he's in rebuild mode, but that isn't a terrible thing. He's getting his co. back in order. Just not sure he should rush to put on shows on HBO at this stage.

Yes, most of my favorite fighters are under the Al Haymon banner. I believe he has the best interests of his fighters at heart and that he will give us great fights when his stable starts fighting each other.

At the same time, Al Haymon is to blame for this very bad year in boxing as SHO has had little to no interesting matchups on its regular channel and all competitive matchups were relegated to PPV. If this continues into 2015, my opinion of Al Haymon will change.

I do believe if Oscar stayed in his seat and didn't mess with GBP that we would have had good fights in 2014 on SHO, but after Oscar stepped up and Schaefer left, Haymon had no interest in putting up competitive fights with Oscar as the head at GBP.

I can respect your post. U gave ure point and opinion and it was reasonable one. But we shall see next year when his product goes to nbc.
