Maybe because he wasnt a PPV megastar, Showtime can't bury themselves and fully admit putting thi non ppv fighter on PPV twice this year though; Espinoza subtly let it be know with that tweet with the Cotto Martinez numbers + Canelo, thats all haters really needed to know
you just confirmed what others posted about you...

If you think Showtime was happy that Canelo left for HBO or as you put it Showtime basically canned Canelo then you're a complete moron.

Many fighters including Cotto and De La Hoya returned to regular cable after having PPV fights. Doesn't mean networks lose money for it.

Hmm.....so far from the PPV buying public...in one of the biggest forums dedicated to the sport.....one where Mr Mayweather seems to have UNLIMITED ammount of support no matter what he does......

almost 90% would NOT buy his PPV vs Nelo Cotto........

that is why they say.....better watch what you wish for....

this could be quite a humbling experience....

Why should I believe a guy that nearly got knock on his ass by Jose Cotto, is supposed to beat the immensly better brother Miguel
So in laymans terms, you would rather pay to watch Floyd Spar/clinch than watch a fight.

                  Wow

you acting like you you get a cut of the ppvs? Why do you care so much about ppv numbers?

Besides mosley whos is a potential future HOF, and hatton, who has fraudweather fought thats not:
                      A. Hispanic or Latino
                      B. Outside of Las Vegas
                      C. Days that are not related to mexican holidays

Since his ODH fight, yes another mexican on a mexican holiday, he has fought 4 mexicans on mexican holidays. Yet, he's the reason behind the buys, its not a strategic marketing ploy by al haymon.
