Everybody wants to fight Chavez because he's such a low risk fight that'll make decent money. Hopefully if Golovkin does big tv numbers this weekend that'll reopen negotiations for Golovkin-Froch. Chavez isn't the big ppv seller they make him out to be. Chavez-Martinez did about half a million back when ppv's were stronger.

I absolutely take personal offence to that.

I mean, I´ve studied and practiced Journalism on both sides of the pond, and there´s absolutely no question which one obtains a higher standard.

I would love to see this fight happen, if Hopkins beats Kovalev, I don't see how Hopkins vs. Froch in Vegas couldn't be an easy replacement.

Agreed. He totally earned the right to a big pay day, and the glamour that he thinks Vegas might bring, but "legacy" is BS Hearn. I think a big part of Froch's mindset is that he wants people to rank him above Calzaghe in terms of greatest British fighters. He's always had a hang up about it. I've got a lot of time for Froch – quality fighter – but he makes excuses about Ward because he knows he can't win.

In tip top shape this is a good fight for Chavez. Froch is slow enough to where he won't make Jr look bad and all in all Chavez grinds this one out. Younger & not as many wars as Carl give him the edge.
