If it were true, which it probably isn't, it would be great.

Haye really did hold much promise, kind of like a HW version of Roy Jones.

After a stellar CW career, a whole bunch of steroids and strength training, then rocked up and started smacking around HW giants like it was his natural weight class.

No former CW has ever done that.

His performance against Wladimir was not what is should have been, I guess he was fearful if being knocked out and all but still.

The only problem I have with him is he has the "Andre Ward" illness. He doesn't fight. And he ****s other boxers around all the time. And he talks to much, raises expectations and then doesn't deliver.

If we could tie him to a post in the centre of a ring and feed him opponents and cut out the guys tongue so he couldn't talk ****, then he'd be great!

When Haye comes to fight he usually produces something really good. And at one point I considered him the second best HW fighter in the world.

I wonder if he did return, whether he could do it in the same form. 2 yeards inactivity is nothing insurmountable today, especially with someone like Haye who maintains high skills and athleticism always. And 32 yrs old is prime these days.

I think two years after a serious shoulder injury is significant imo. He's also 34 now, and whilst he is a vegan who looks ater himself etc, the fact is that no one can be Peter Pan forever.

But still, I'm actually quite looking forward to him comeback.
Who would be a decent comeback opponent for him?

Guys like Matt Legg are not in his class ffs.

I doubt he'll make a return in a months time with nothing announced.

But I'm not interested in his career until he fights Fury or Pulev or Povetkin or Stiverne/Wilder.

Haye isn't fighting on the 22nd, he's too busy hanging out with fatties like Lauren Goodger. http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrit...-boobs-4440508

Yeah I know but look at other boxers like Vitali, came back from multiple injuries and 4 years absence.

I think judging by last years camp, Haye looked pretty slick and sharp. But of course, the proof is in the pudding.

If he doesn't return to full form and soon it will honestly be a total robbery to the boxing world of a great fighter.

I would like to see the return of David Haye. I don't like the dramatics outside of the ring, but he is a decent fighter with a bit of excitement.

There's an interview Cassius Clay or whatever his name is had with Haye a month ago on youtube.

I watched 5 mins worth (20+) and had to turn it off.

Reason being, as much as I think Haye brings welcome excitement to the division and can still beat some top guys, I'm sick to death at the moment of the desperate picture of talk of fights, promotional companies, agents, contracts, politics, and no fights happening.

Haye is terrible for it as-well with his games, add to that his injuries and twisting of the truth at times and all he says in this interview is I'm well and will announce something imminently, can't say, blah blah blah. Month on, nothing.

Bore off Haye and Khan and sign some fights FFS. You're boxers, box.

Eddie Hearn has been going on about some big name being added to the bill. I highly doubt it's David Haye considering the money he'd want.

Hearn also said it was someone "around the middle" in terms of weight....could be throwing people off the scent but he's usually quite honest about this stuff.

I read that he split with Booth earlier this year. It's reported that he's in the US training.
