The International Boxing Federation [IBF] has ordered an eliminator for the number one ranking in the junior bantamweight division - between contenders McJoe Arroyo (15-0, 8KOs) of Puerto Rico and Mark Geraldo (31-4-3, 14KOs) of the Philippines. The negotiations must begin immediately and a deal must be reached by October 28th or a purse bid will be ordered.

McJoe got a raw deal in Thailand, but that is life on the road. He couldn't take the crowd out of the fight, and he couldn't take Rerun out. He comes out of PR with a punchers rep, so he gets short rounds, stiff mat, big ring, and he can't adapt. A lack of internationl experience, and getting the short end of the stick as the visitor takes practise to overcome. Fighting at home all the time only teaches the A side, that's not always the case when you hunt world titles.
