When Cotto beats Margarito, he's shot, but when Manny beats him (for a belt?) Margarito was a beast. When Mayweather beats Oscar at 154, ODLH was old, but when Manny beats ODLH much later, and at 147, Manny's a beast. When Floyd beats Shane, who was coming of a KO vs. Margarito, Shane is old, but when Manny beats Shane coming off a draw with Mora, Manny's a beast! Maidana is way better than Algeri, and it didn't have to be Algeri. There are other welterweights out there besides Mayweather! If Manny can fight Mayweather, he could fight anyone on the GBP/Haymon stable, but he didn't. If you criticize Floyd's opponents, then Manny is the worse!

Is that a quote from Arum or Floyd? It's funny... When Floyd wants to fight these guys (De La Hoya, Mosley, Cotto)and they don't want to fight Floyd, these guys don't take any blame. But when it's perceived that a guy is in his prime and Floyd doesn't fight them for whatever reason, Floyd is to blame. It shouldn't be both ways. Also imo, the prime argument should hold less weight when Floyd is older then the boxers that he is accused of ducking when they were in their prime (Cotto, Pacquiao). And besides, Floyd is not a spring chicken. He's not in his prime whopping ass a la Corrales and Gatti.

I never stated that broner is a hype job. Please quote it. I actually gave broner ALOT of credit. Got his ass whooped, but FOUGHT the whole 12 rounds. Broner actually gained a fan here when he said, "no disrespect to al haymon but Ima let ya know who I fight next and I want matthysse", but I would want to see him in the ring with him and if he does, then ima root for broner on that fight. I know what backflips you are talking about bro, the one where, imo, the ref ***ed up big time in that fight (the old guy i forget his name) calling it a slip when imo it wasn't. Bradley had one decent win at WW, and that's against Marquez, the only WW older than Mayweather. Do you know how many wins Marquez has at WW? One, and that's against Pacquiao at a CW. Bradley was a good boxer, just like Broner, but neither of them were true Welterweight champions. They should both be back at 140. Anyway, Maidana did just as much as Bradley to get a shot. If Maidana didn't deserve it, Bradley damn sure didn't deserve it either!

I thought the boxing pedestal was higher for floyd than manny, according to boxing fans. Isn't this the saying they all use, "all roads lead to mayweather"? So shouldn't your wins at the division need to be more cemented for floyd than manny? I mean, of course, according to the notion that all roads lead to mayweather?

I just realize that when I see a person post and use terms like "Floydie", "Pac Roid" or any other disparaging names to describe these great boxers... "A bit more?" Has Manny come close to the money or PPVs like De La Hoya vs. Mayweather, or Mayweather vs. Canelo? Mayweather's offer was fair, and if Manny can make $40 Million without Mayweather, then he would be doing that now and not fighting Chris Algeri.

If anyone thinks the $40 million that Mayweather offered is fair then they are clueless or delusional. It would've been the biggest fight of all time, so while $40 million is normally a lot without any PPV bonus it would be a complete rip off for a fight of this magnitude. Mayweather priced himself out.

Because its an ongoing cycle. The best wins to get to broner are berto and broner? Maidana would have NEVER gotten that shot at floydie if he fought thurman. Guerrero is ducking thurman as well.

I agree i think Floyd wins this fight but it has to happen...

I just wanna see what everybody says after the fight becuase it's no way the fight is gonna live up to the hype people really think Floyd is scared of this guy and that Pacquaio can beat him so when Floyd beats him easy and the fights not entertaining what will they say
