Comments Thread For: Savigne Hopes To Get His Hands on Adonis Stevenson

Humberto "The Don" Savigne (13-1, 10 KO's), currently ranked at #2 by the World Boxing Council (WBC) at light heavyweight, says WBC champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson has a lot of respect for him and that's why he didn't select him for his next defense.

Stevenson is planning to return in December and Savigne was one of the boxers under consideration for the fight. Recent reports indicate that Dmitry Sukhotsky could land the fight.

La Derecha de El Don would knock Adonis' head off, El Don is the real deal and he'll be the pound for pound best at 175 when Hopkins retires, this guy is the real deal with a hell of a right hand

I like Savigne, but there's some real stiff competition at 175 (current and emerging) and the guy's old already. I give him an outside chance at getting his hands on Stevensons strap if he gets the opportunity, but the current LHW division ain't a good place for guys who can get KOd by journeymen.
