What Countries have had a Good/Bad Year for Boxing?

    Example,

Unfortunately for Australian boxing its been a pretty bad year, with a lot of their big names losing at world level.

Britain has had an average years but had some big moments like Froch-Groves II which was possibly the biggest fight in British boxing history an Kell Brook winning the IBF title in California to name a few.

A good year for boxing in the US? Mexico? etc...

    What are your opinions?

Definitely Australia for the worst year. All name Aus fighters lost fights.

Geale, Fletcher, Soliman, Dawson, Tomlinson, Brunker and Caparello all lost their biggest fights.

            Just Lucas Brown stayed winning.

That's just about the entire Australian top flight (with the exception of Lucas Browne) beaten, mainly KOd in the space of 6 months.

Mexico has had a terrible year in terms of World Champions. We're down to 7 World Champions after Molina's loss to Bundrage yesterday.

I think at the end of 2012 Mexico had 16 World Champions.

Japan has had a great year, and Ukraine has done pretty well too. And The US has done okay.

Britain's done well... a big fight in Groves-Froch II. We've gained a few more world champions this year too in; Carl Frampton, Jamie McDonnell and Kell Brook.

Biggest shock this year so far - Cotto vs Martinez? I can't think of anything else at the moment... How have the other PR fighters done?
