Comments Thread For: Abraham Ready For Groves, Kessler - Dares Ward, Dirrell

WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (41-4, 28KOs) has no interest in traveling over to the United States to face Andre Ward or Andre Dirrell, because he sees neither fighter as being capable of bringing enough money to the table.

King Arthur is more motivated to take on his Sauerland Event stablemates, George Groves and Mikkel Kessler, in high profile events in Europe. Next up, Abraham will have to face the winner of next month's final eliminator between Felix Sturm and Robert Stieglitz. He hopes to face both Sturm and Stieglitz, back to back. Abraham is 2-1 in his three fight series with Stieglitz. [Click Here To Read More]

Good fight for either Kessler or Groves. Would be a chin tester and a needed step back up to world level for the saint but would like to see Kessler teach him a lesson after the Smith farce.

After an exciting MW career, Abraham's time at SMW has been mostly a dud. His power's not that impressive at the weight and he lacks the technique and stamina to be an effective fighter there. Though, his first 3 rounds against Ward were impressive, then he gassed and Andre threw it into a higher gear...

Would love to see Abraham vs. Kessler, that's a 50-50 fight now. Paul smith rematch is unnecessary IMO, he was a deserved winner. Or Abraham-Dirrell II.

                  I think Groves/Dirrell/Kessler/Abraham should have a mini-tourney.

... Yes, call Ward in Germany -- the refs in Wurstlandia would take good care of him...
