Tyson Fury - Seemed to turn his career around several years ago as he rededicated himself to the sport. If he ever gets his next fight behind him, he have the potential of winning some big fights

Deontay Wilder - has fought **** competition but is in great shape, has tremendous one punch ko power and has a killer instinct to put guys away

Joseph Parker - New Zealand prospect is being brought up the same way as Joshua - fighting good completion and looking good doing so.

Alexander Povetkin - still a top hw who seems to have a lot more years left in him. He's a skilled boxer, is very durable and has shown flashes of greatness

Luis Ortiz - A Cuban schooled southpaw boxer with mad skillz and decent hw power. Largely unproven but shows a lot of promise

Bermane Stiverne - skilled fast handed sharp counter puncher who looked great in beating Chris Arreola 2x

Bryant Jennings - a young hungry fighter who's still developing on the job and has looked decent against good opponents. He's cagey, athletic but is sometimes not aggressive enough; power is OK

Others - Hughie Fury, Andy Ruiz, Carlos Takam, Edddie Chambers, Ceasar Glazkov, Kubrat Pulev

He seems open to left hooks and doesn't seem quick to react to counters. At this stage he could be easily be set up by a crafty technician; i'm just not sold on him just yet, its still early days and he might improve as he steps up in competition.

I've been supporting guys like Jennings and Wilder but I've got to say I think Joshua has the better looking start. They didn't put Wilder in this tough early and Jennings had a harder way to go but was coming on only boxing for a little bit. Joshua's got this great amateur pedigree and you know they believe in him the way they're fast tracking the brother. This is a heavyweight PUNCHER with SIZE and amateur pedigree AND fitness AND is getting fast tracked that you can actually get excited about. Nobody else has all of that as a prospect yet. It's undeniable stuff. Keep an eye on this man.

povetkin is 35, maybe he can roid out of his mind i dunno, but he's the best after the klitschkos retire by a longshot unless he's past it

Yes, actually is pretty solid list of good fighters. Let me guess - you probably haven't even see half of those guys in action?

I think it's because the majority of those fighters are 30+.

Either way, the heavyweight division certainly does have talent. Sure, we might not have a dominant champion like ze Klitschko brothers but I like the idea that it'll be a very competitive division again.

Joshua is the heir apparent to wlad... Them sparring together when one is a prospect and the other is the veteran champion, it reminds me of Larry Holmes sparring with Ali.. And just how Larry took over after Ali, I think Joshua will take over for wlad...

I could be dead wrong, but I predict in 2018 Joshua will be the money man in the division and at least a paper champ
