Its like danny beat matthysse so now he feels that he doesnt have to prove himself anymore just based off of that win. Thats how it seems to me anyway.

if his next fight isn't floyd or pacquiao but another soft touch, everyone should **** on him. we can talk about boxing being prize fighting, but at some point, you have to show a little pride. another soft touch would be embarrassing.

Garcia has two good options for his next fight: a rematch with the dangerous Rod Salka or a third match against the rejuvenated Erik Morales. Both of those fights have a high risk, should be sanction for titles and carried on PPV (and forget to mention that both can be made at a catch weight below 147 Lbs)

I hope postal loses in his voluntary fight... It's stuff like this makes boxing such a pathetic joke of a sport, it's really not a sport but a business...

This isn't about Garcia, Postol sold out, he cashed in without a fight, he won his shot at the title and then sold out. Just wait for the announcement, Postol joins Al Haymon. Al Haymon srewed quillin out of 1.4 mill. He can't afford to do the same to Garcia. Roc Nation changed the odds (without even staging a card) if they go to bid they could be outbided and exposed again. Make up your mind is it about the money or not. The script is Garcia to 147 and one of his titles goes to Broner the other to the machine. We have to start using the terms title holder and champion differently. Quilling was a title holder not a champion, Herrera is a champion without a title. News flash 142 is welter weight. Garcia fought salka at 142.

Let Postol fight Matthysse, and that's what will happen. I'm hoping Postol doesn't take a soft touch.

Danny wasn't gonna fight him - what do you think all these postponements were about. This 4 month window should give Swift enough time to make something worthwhile at WW so he can claim he's 'moving on to bigger things' rather than avoiding his mando cos he doesn't want a Quillinesque backlash.

Point is Postol wasn't getting his fight anyway. This way he at least gets paid for it, and assuming he wins any fight he has in the meantime, still gets his title shot. Victor ain't at the kinda level where he can afford to turn down free money to wait for fights that ain't happening.
