By doing this, I think he's sticking around jr ww.
I'm fine with Garcia/Peterson, but WBC hasn't been allowing their champions to unify. Maybe that will change, starting with this match-up. I'm not getting my hopes up for that match-up though. I hate how the purse bid was drawn out just so we can find out that Postol is stepping aside. Do you really see Garcia fighting Peterson and then fighting Postol? It's hard to get excited for anything in boxing because of how frequently things seem to fall apart.

What are you talking about? The UFC used to do this all the time. Ever since Chuck Liddell lost in the Pride Tournament almost a decade ago. Since then he never let his champions fight against anyone from Pride, Strikeforce, Dream, Elite, Shooto or other organizations whether it was in a cage or ring. He's a big reason we never got Couture vs Fedor and many other fights

Swift must've enjoyed the easy Salka fight and wants a repeat. I'll wait a few fights though before I say Herrera ruined him.

DSG is ducking and this is coming from a fan. He's about to enter Andre Ward territory with me. I can be a fan of someone, but i keep it real. Ducking is ducking.

OK now that you've compared MMA 10 years ago to boxing now... Compare MMA now to boxing now...

The fact that a couple hours ago when Garcia-Postol was "announced" 90% of the thread replies were "HAHAHA YEAH RIGHT" and then a couple hours later Postol steps aside... Is just sad and pathetic. Haymon's fighters are exhibition acts.

At the risk of being dramatic, this year has been such a big letdown that my boxing fandom has waned just a small bit. Small, but this happened with baseball. It began as a little less enthusiasm, now I haven't seen a full game in years. Used to be my favorite sport.

If this continues to happen, I just won't bother with boxing as much. Not on purpose, but it just happens. Not being dramatic here. It just happens when quality decreases.

Yeah I'll watch the big fights, but there are increasingly less big fights.

Further proof that Al Haymon is the reason Pacquiao-Mayweather didn't happen because he put the fear of God into Mayweather in making that fight happen...

"Danny Garcia and Postol have reached an agreement? What a coward Danny is, Postol sucks and is a cherry pick. Of course Swift would agree to fight someone like him."

                      *Step aside agreement is announced*

"Danny Garcia is paying Postol to step aside? What a coward Danny is, ducking his #1 contender. Of course Swift wants to bypass him to fight a voluntary."

Some of you guys are ridiculous.
